Clarksville, Tenn., April 8, 2020 – Husband/wife duo Michael and Sarah Rike completely uprooted themselves from their native California home and moved halfway across the country to Clarksville, Tenn. earlier this year. They are excited to announce their NUTRISHOP® location will be open for business in their new hometown on Saturday, April 10th. They will be hosting their official Grand Opening event on the same day featuring a progressive sale on products, a food truck and six local vendors from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We are honored to be given a chance to open up a Nutrishop franchise in Clarksville, working for a great company – a company that we truly believe in,” said Michael Rike, 45, who, prior to becoming a Nutrishop franchisee, worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years as a fitness director for multiple gyms. “Our new hometown has been both VERY welcoming and VERY supportive and we are incredibly happy to be here.”
The Rikes, who first were Nutrishop customers, actually took over an existing Nutrishop store in Beaumont, Calif. last year along with a business partner. A few months later, an idea popped into their heads about moving to Tennessee. They looked into it, went for a visit, fell in love and sold their half of the Beaumont Nutrishop store to their partner in December 2020. They sold their house, too, packed up and moved with their son, Noah, 17, and daughter, Reagan, 2, to Clarksville on February 1. Now, their brand new Nutrishop store is finally open and the Rikes couldn’t be more excited to work together as a family (Noah will be working at the store, too) and start helping people reach their health and fitness goals.
